CBS-X

5% solution of CBS-X from Ciba and Hongda

CBS-X is produced firstly by Ciba and it is called "superstar of OBA" because of its excellent effect in detergent. Now it is produced by many other manufacturers, like Zhejiang JDR ,Hongda, Dystar etc. For this product, it has different trade name, like Tinopal CBS-X, Uvitext NFW, JDR CBS-X etc.

Besides widely using in detergent, CBS-X also has been applied into textile industry, especially cotton. However, its high price has prevent its market role before. With tenichique development, more and more Chinese manufacturers push their CBS-X into market with price much lower than old manufactuer like Ciba and Dystar. Good quality and much lower price, CBS-X from China has defeated many big company's CBS-X. It is no doubt that China CBS-X will gain more market share if big company can not sort out good means to compete with these strong pursuer.

Optical brightener -A compound that absorbs the invisible ultraviolet component of sunlight and re-emits it as visible light at the blue end of the spectrum. It is also called fluorcesent whitening agent,optical brightening agent, fluorcesent brightener etc. Usually we can call it as OBA/FWA.
