Super Whitener created in China for acrylic fiber

Super Whitener created in China for acrylic fiber

As the No.1 manufacturer of optical brighteners in China, Zhejiang Hongda Chemical Co,.Ltd produce more than 30 kinds of optical brighteners for textile, detergent, plastic and paper industry (OB-1,CBS-X,OB,BBU etc).

Now I will introduce our latest “big bomb” in the market ---BAC for acrylic fiber.

Acrylic fibres is regarded as top 3 fibers for textiles with nylon and polyester fibres. Even normally acrylic fibers has good white degree, people need “bleach” it to meet higher requirement for whiteness. Scientists have done quite good job and there are several kinds of brighteners for acrylic in market, like C.I.363(UVITEX BAC),Blankophor ANB, Blankophor DBS,C.I.311(Hostalux NR), Blankophor DRS,C.I. 386(Hostalux NIR), Hostalux SN and C.I. 390(HostaluX SNR) etc.

Among them, the most popular is C.I.363 (UVITEX BAC) which is produced by Ciba(Note: Ciba sold its textile chemicals to Hustman chemicals later). Due to much difficulty in synthesis (11 steps), Ciba has occupied BAC exclusively for many years. No doubt, the price of BAC has been too expensive for most dye factories and limits its use in worldwide. Now it is time to change!

In 2007, With 4 years’ hard work, after thousands of failure, scientists from Hongda has finished the test in lab, medium-size production of BAC. Now commerical production of BAC is on schedule. After strict test, we are proud to announance that our BAC can completely substitute UVITEX BAC. Also, we are sure our price will be much lower than UVITEX BAC. We are honored to invite you to share the fruit with our company now. Pls check detailed information of BAC in the attachment.

More popular & important optical brighteners will be introduced in the future.

Best regards,

Kevin Hu

Hello Kelvin

I am using recycled PPO (PPE) carbon filled antistatic plastic to make trays. The surface of the product is dull black. If I use virgin material, the surface is shiny.
Question: do you sell any kind of brightener that I can add to the recycled PPE to make the product look shiny?
